What’s your expectation?

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1

The Bible says, “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God” (Isaiah 41:10). Fear is one of the tools our enemy uses to knock us off balance.

When the enemy comes with the first little problem, we must not allow ourselves to be caught off guard. What are you expecting right now? some people expect nothing but the worst. They do not expect a raise or a breakthrough or any good thing to come their way. They don’t expect God to show up.

How do I know? Because if someone is expecting, that person starts making changes. When I was expecting a child, I started to plan, started to get their room together, we had a baby shower. There were things being done to prepare for the baby. We waited with hopeful expectation. You & I are to likewise prepare to receive our answer from God.

After all, what is faith in God? Faith is expectation. And where there is expectation, there is preparation. And where there is faith, there can be no fear, for faith shoves fear out. Faith cancels your fear. Your victory will be won in the arena of expectation and expectation begins with hope.

So, I ask you: What are you hoping for?

Prayer; Lord Jesus, I trust in you. I believe every word you have spoken to me. I know you have thoughts of good and not evil towards me. I have faith in You, even when I feel it is hard. I know that the victory is mine because you have conquered it all. I will not fear because I have put my hope in YOU! In Jesus Name, Amen
