The time has come for you to be Courageous.
The time has come to be brave, to continue moving forward in our walk with God, and to carry out His plans and thus fulfill His purposes for our lives.
When we read Joshua 1:5, we can feel confident that, in everything God entrusts or calls us to do, He will be with us as He was with Moses and Joshua. Because God is faithful and never fails.
“No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you.” (Joshua 1:5 NLT).
We will be able to accomplish God’s plans and fulfill His purposes with courage. “Be strong and courageous!” was the instruction and command that God gave to Joshua so that he could continue to lead the people of Israel after Moses’ death. Today, that instruction and command exhorts and encourages us in our Christian walk.
Courage is an essential quality of a Christian, necessary to face with bravery the challenges of the present and the future. Courage gives us the strength we need to walk by faith and not by sight.
“This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

We cannot completely eliminate fear from our lives, but by deciding to choose courage in obedience, we can walk confidently in God, who is faithful. He is the one who holds the world in His hands. Though trials come, danger arises, obstacles, enemies, and great giants appear, with God on our side we will prosper, and in everything we do for Him we will succeed. This is the faithful and supreme God in heaven above and on earth below; this is the God you and I serve and in whom we have placed our trust.
Be strong and courageous
Do not be afraid,
Nor be discouraged.
God is with you wherever you go.
