If you choose to have faith, you must trust in God’s plan.
Your past, your present, and your future are not out of God’s sight. Whatever situation you have faced or are facing today is in the hands of the living God. We must believe that God will turn our trials for our good and for His divine purposes.
Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.
When the Apostle Paul faced imprisonment, he came to understand that his own suffering was a participation in the suffering of Jesus. He trusted in God’s perfect plan for his life. He learned to be content in the most difficult moments of his life. Prison in Rome was no joke; he was in the worst conditions you can imagine. Yet, he comforted the church in Philippi by writing:
Philippians 4:12-13
I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well-fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through Him who gives me strength.
It is so comforting, even for us today, that we can find strength in God if we learn to depend on Jesus alone. It is God’s love and the presence of Jesus in our lives that give us hope and humility to endure the most unbearable situations in our lives.
Choose faith, trust, and have confidence in God. He will make a way where there is none.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
In every situation we face, may we always remember to have faith in Your divine plan. Grant us the strength and confidence to trust You wholeheartedly, knowing that Your ways are higher than ours. Help us to lean on Your wisdom and love, especially in times of uncertainty. May we find peace in Your presence and assurance in Your promises, no matter what challenges come our way.
