In a world where love is often portrayed as fleeting and conditional, the Word of God brings us a beautiful, powerful truth about love’s enduring nature. The apostle Paul, in his letter to the Corinthians, provides us with a profound and comprehensive description of what true love looks like.
God’s love for us is characterized by an infinite patience and kindness. Despite our flaws and failures, His love remains steadfast.
True love is selfless, devoid of envy or pride. It does not seek to elevate oneself at the expense of others. Instead, it rejoices in the blessings and successes of those around us.
Humility and respect are fundamental aspects of love. Jesus, our ultimate example, approached people with humility and grace.
